Dr Pepper Ballpark receives top honor
11/13/2008 from RoughRiders Website

Ballpark Digest has awarded the Frisco RoughRiders with "Best Ballpark Improvements" for the 2008, along with the Quad City River Bandits. Improvements to Dr Pepper Ballpark included overall appearance of the stadium, an outstanding new food vendor and even more ways for families to enjoy their day at the park.

Most notable addition is the newly constructed Deuce's Playground in the left field corner. Created by webuildfun.com, the playground boasts a three level complex and several slides, making it a popular attraction for children and families. A new terrace built by Guardian Construction and picnic area adjacent to the batting cage offers seclusion from the rest of the ballpark, adding to the "park within a park" design, which has made Dr Pepper Ballpark so popular with families. Principal sponsor James Hardie, replaced all the trim with its exclusive pressure treated material and repainted the entire ballpark, including the foul poles. And last but not least, the Teddy Express underwent major improvements, including expansion of the area and additional space for tasty new vendors, including Bob Evans products.

Remodeling Tips

Preparing for a remodeling project is a lot like preparing to buy a car. You may know the room and style you want, but the options you choose may drive the price higher than you can reasonably afford. But there are ways to stretch the remodeling budget and end up with stylish results within budget.

Most Asked Questions of Home Improvement Contractors

Contractors share the short list of questions they are usually asked by homeowners and offer a list of questions they recommend you ask.

You would think that launching an entire remodeling project would spark a truckload of questions from wary homeowners who have heard the horror stories surrounding the world of remodeling. Surprisingly, though, contractor members of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) admit they aren't asked enough questions!
